Layout of the answer options

It often happens that the layout of the answer options turns out to be unclear, as in the example below:

This most often happens when answer options are copied and pasted. You may then inadvertently also copy some HTML code from the source document. In some cases Blackboard may also have added or adjusted HTML codes. You can solve this problem by cleaning up the HTML code.

There is another option, which is not to copy the textual information directly from within Word, but to copy it first to an ASCII-editor. Than you can copy from the ASCII-editor to Blackboard. This will eliminate unnecessary code. If the lay-out is already unclear within Blackboard, you may also copy from Blackboard to the ASCII-editor and back. Some of the lay-out will change however. Beware: graphics do not copy to an ASCII-editor, it only accepts pure text!
