With a Hot Spot question, the candidates have to point out a spot in an image.

• Formulate the question and attach the image:
  
• Click on Next.
  The image is shown.

• Use the mouse to specify which area in the image will be counted as a correct answer:
  
  Start your mouse above at the left side of the spot, end at the right of the bottom. The coordinates are displayed on the screen. If the area has not been specified correctly, click on Clear and try again.
  

[alert type=”info”]Note: Do not make the selected area too small. It should be reasonably possible to click the right spot without having to hit on exactly the right pixels. The selection is always rectangular. For some questions (e.g., certain questions on anatomy) this may not be precise enough. The candidates will then have to be questioned in some other way.[/alert]

• Complete the other fields and click on Submit.
