The default language setting of UU Blackboard is English. This setting cannot be changed.

As an instructor, you can adjust the language in your learning environment yourself. You can choose between Dutch or English. An instructor can enforce a language setting, in which case students cannot select a different setting.

The steps for adjusting the language setting are as follows:

• Go to the course for which you want to change the language.
• Under Control Panel, click on Customization.
• The submenu folds out.
• Click on Properties.
• The Properties screen opens.
• Scroll to 4. Select Language Pack and select the language you wish to use within the learning environment.
• In order to enforce this selection, you can tick the Enforce Language Pack option.
• Click on Submit.
