You can also copy separate items directly from the old to the new environment. In order to do so, you have to switch on the “Edit” mode. We also advise you to first organise the main structure (in particular the folder structure) of the new course, so that items can be copied to the right location directly.

• In the old course, go to the item (e.g., a PDF, hyperlink or discussion board) and click on the drop-down menu.
• Select “Copy”. The “Copy” screen will now be displayed.
• Under “Destination Course”, select the new course.
• Under “Destination Folder”, click on “Browse” and navigate to the place in the new course where the content item should be copied to.
